Mandeogi, the Festival’s Character

The character Mandeogi is the mascot of the Bucheon International Comics Festival, which passing into the comic imagination.
The character’s design is a personification of the symbols (speech bubbles and ink bubbles) of the Korea Manhwa Contents Agency and the Bucheon International Comics Festival’s BI. In honor of the children's hero Superman, the emblem of the Bucheon International Comics Festival is placed on his chest, expressing the figure of the hero passing into the imagination within the comics.
